21st Sunday in Ordinary Time
Thanks to everyone who came out last week! We had an interesting mix of (mostly) GC music, and it was fun pulling out some less-common tunes! Pan de Vida is definitely one to revisit :-).
Here's the audio. Once again, two sets of files -- one from the choir area and the other a direct feed from the system (testing the second output this time). I'm still tweaking recording levels and how some instrumentalists are mic'd, but we're getting there!
If you're able to help with wiring and/or cabinet cleanup, stay tuned for some emails this week on possible dates. I'm hoping to get something scheduled in the next few weeks.
The donated guitar has been delivered and is now in the choir area. Jeff (from the 10:30 group) evaluated it last week, and I'd like us to do the same. Let's take a look this weekend, and go from there!
Recently, the Office shared the Faith Formation and OCIA schedules for the new year. Many of these events are on Sundays, but I'll add them all to the group calendar for reference. For now, though, I think the following are the only Saturday events. Please mark your calendars!
- 10/17/26 - OCIA Dismissal @ 5 PM Mass
- 12/19/26 - Christmas Pageant, 1-3 PM in Agape Hall
- 01/09/27 - OCIA Dismissal @ 5 PM Mass
- 02/13/27 - OCIA Rite of Sending @ 5 PM Mass
- 04/03/27 - First Communion @ 5 PM Mass

A quick reminder that our Summer Potluck is after Mass this week. If you have anything to prep, please come early so that we don't lose rehearsal time! Lots to get through this week! Anytime between 3:30-4:00 should be fine. As usual, we'll stage everything in the Kitchenette and eat in The Warehouse.
Finally, September music is in the works. We'll celebrate the Season of Creation throughout the month, so there will be plenty of creation-themed music. You may finally see that new music selections template too :-). More on that soon.
