Season of Creation:
"To Hope and Act with Creation"
23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time / Baptism

Here's to another great Mass last week! Our first liturgy for the Season of Creation came together really well, and it was fun having everyone on mics again. Special thanks to Monica for giving us a hand. Here's the audio

We officially made it through the Summer! Thanks so much to everyone's who's been able to sing/play over the past several months (including our guest musicians)! Summer is traditionally a tricky time for coverage (as you well know!), but we made it this go around without any real issues. Now we just have the rest of Ordinary Time, Advent and Christmas to worry about :-).

The Pastoral Council has been on Summer break in July & August. We resume meeting this week. Barb P. compiled this report on our activities for the Prayer & Worship Committee (thanks, Barb!). Just wanted to share in case you're curious about what's happening across the Ministry.

A reminder that we're meeting at 3:30 PM this Saturday to work on Storrington Mass. The parts are really starting to gel, but this will be a good chance to look at any problem areas. Also, since we have a double-Baptism (it's been a while!), this will give us a bit more rehearsal time to play with.

Looking ahead, Victoria is available to cover for Bev on Sept. 21st; Virginia is also seeing if she can play on the 28th. If anything changes, I'll let you know!

Bev put out some possible dates in October, November & December for our next Quarterly Potluck. Please let her know what works, and we can go from there. This was a fun gathering last time and I hope everyone will consider joining us!

Finally, we just received the RCIA schedule for 2024-25. For Masses where there's an RCIA Dismissal (it'll rotate between 5:00, 8:30 & 10:30), we'll need to include a Dismissal song. For Saturdays, we won't need to worry about this until February. I'll add this to our binder in the choir area for reference.

Enjoy the Fall weather and have a great week!
