Thanks for a great liturgy last week! We were more fully-staffed than expected and it was a real pleasure working with Fr. Gardner & Joanne (but we're looking forward to having you back, Bev :-). Both passed along high compliments on our ensemble, which was wonderful to hear. Here's the audio.

Just in case anyone's wondering, the Feast of the Assumption fell on a Monday this year (08/15). Because of that, there was no dedicated Mass and it wasn't considered a Holy Day of Obligation.

Father's Gathering song, As We Gather at Your Table, is a piece we've only done once before. You may recognize the tune as HOLY MANNA. Please take a look if it's unfamiliar.

As long as we take Canticle of the Turning at a decent tempo, we should be able to get through all four verses for Preparation. Harmonies on the refrain would be great :-).

For Be Not Afraid, please be careful of the rhythms -- I'm flexible as long as we're all doing these the same way. Also, the GC version has an additional harmony on vs 3 that may be worth looking at.

Finally, we can have some fun with We Will Serve the Lord, but like last time, I don't want to push our luck. Let's stick fairly close to the book and add other elements if there's time.
