Songs & Updates for Saturday, March 19, 2022 [updated]

3rd Sunday of Lent

Thanks for your patience & flexibility last week! Fr. Charlie was out for a medical issue, so Fr. Baker covered. We also revised the program, but had to effectively cancel activities due to the storm. I'm told one or two folks made it anyway, though (much appreciated!).

It was announced last weekend that the Parish is no longer requiring masks. Let's keep wearing masks within the choir for now and discuss whether that's still necessary moving forward.

Please welcome Frank to the group! He may be interested in joining us on vocals/guitar.

One change to Saturday's program: since Father has been using Return to God for Sending, I moved it from Communion to Sending & added a different Communion selection. Nothing new, though.

Please let us know your availability for Holy Week liturgies (see separate email with a survey). Just trying to get an idea of where we stand as we sort out music, rehearsals & logistics.

Finally, a prelude I'm looking at for Easter Sunday is Ricky Manalo's He Is Risen. Still checking a few things, but if this works for everyone, I'll have copies of the music on Saturday.

That's all for now. Have a great week and enjoy the nice weather!
