17th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Thanks for another solid piano/percussion Mass last week! Everything seemed to flow pretty well (and the power didn't go out :-). I would say Come, Worship the Lord is worth doing again, especially if we can clean up the verses a bit. Here's the audio

Happy (belated) Birthday, Good Shepherd! Last Wednesday, 07/14, marked the Parish's 32nd birthday (1989). Thanks to all who have served in the Music Ministry over the years, both current and former!

The Bishop recently announced that on 08/15, the COVID dispensation for attending Mass will end. It's possible we could see a (slight) increase in Mass attendance numbers at that time. If you're on the fence about returning, still no pressure; we hope you'll rejoin us whenever you're ready.

I'm in the process of selecting music for August. It should be available in the next week or so. One of my goals has been to program SS music that we've done very rarely (or haven't done before). Not all of the songs on this list are necessarily viable (for various reasons), but many are. Stay tuned.

Any volunteers for the Psalm? Also, please take a look at Father's Gathering song (likely new) and review the verses for Communion (all slightly different rhythms).

Finally, we're looking for a cantor to cover Sunday Mass at 10:15 AM. The music went out by email. Again, no pressure, but do sign up if interested.

Have a great week and see you Saturday!
