29th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Thanks for a nice liturgy last week! Sing of the Lord's Goodness is coming together pretty well and it was fun to pull out pieces like All the Ends of the Earth and We Come Today again. Here's the audio.
Looking at this week's program, we'll need to be careful about tempo on Open My Eyes (the recording below is about right). Also, a reminder that we'll sing the Bridge after verses two & three (slightly different than what's written). I'd suggest singing/playing this out of SS.
Please take a look at I Will Lift Up My Eyes if it's unfamiliar -- we've only done this one once before. The final ending will be repeated about three times (skipping the optional Coda).
Since we're using In This Place for Communion (rather than Gathering or Offertory), it can be taken at a slightly slower, more relaxed tempo. It would also be great to include harmony on the refrain.
For Lead Me, Guide Me, Father has commented before about swinging the melody. Let's really lean into the gospel feel to make that happen, especially with no parts to worry about.
Looking ahead, there's a good chance we won't have piano coverage on 11/05. Bev is out and both Joanne & Chris W. are unavailable. This may end up as a guitar or a capella Mass; stay tuned. Please let me know if you're also out that Saturday so we can plan.
Finally, thanks as always for everything you do -- I continue to hear great things about our Ministry and the work that you're all doing. It's much appreciated.
Be well and have a great week!
