Welcome to Lent! We kick off the season with Ash Wednesday on 03/02 at 6:30 PM (not 7:00). Piano and cantor coverage is already lined up. All are welcome to join.
Our music for March can be found here. The cantor schedule is also ready to go. As always, we can adjust as needed. Let me know if you see any problems.
We have a lot to cover this week. Please be ready to start right at 4 PM. The music should all be familiar, possibly with the exception of Return to God (I don't believe we've done this for a Saturday before). Don't forget to review Mass of Remembrance as well and any harmonies.
A few logistics: first, there's no Gathering song. We're also reintroducing a sung Penitential Rite and will be using the Lenten Gospel Acclamation (rather than the Alleluia). There's an RCIA Dismissal and we'll use O Lord, Hear My Prayer for the Intercessions. Everything else should be (mostly) normal.
Finally, please mark your calendars for Holy Week liturgies (schedule HERE). We'll be covering Good Friday; I'm also looking into how we're handling Easter Sunday. Stay tuned.
