Songs & Updates for Saturday, July 3, 2021

14th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Thanks for another great Saturday! It's wonderful to see things coming back together so quickly. The missing key situation and a request to help with the Gospel reading also kept things interesting. It was nice to have mandolin coming through the system this time too. Audio can be found HERE.

There are now multiple keys in different locations for the iPad/sound system. This should prevent a repeat of Saturday's incident. Reach out if you need this info when covering.

Father was happy that we were bringing in songs with minimal delay. There are one or two we should still look at (like the Alleluia), but we're definitely getting there. Thanks for working with me on this.

With the holiday, I asked Bev about playing a church-appropriate, 4th of July-themed prelude. This should dovetail nicely with Offertory, and coincidentally, Father's Gathering/Sending picks.

Finally, we do have some folks out (Ken, Maggie and likely others), so be prepared for a small group. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, do keep signing up or letting me know your availability.

If I don't see you, have a great, safe holiday weekend!
