Presentation of the Lord
Thanks for a wonderful Double-Baptism last week and a nice evening of food and fellowship! The music sounded great and everything came together pretty well. Check out the audio HERE. Our music for February (HERE) has been approved with one minor tweak. The cantor schedule can be found HERE. Will share more info on the plan for Lent following a meeting later this week.

As far as special selections for Lent/Easter, here's what I'm thinking so far. Please take a look and let me know your thoughts. A rehearsal plan should be available shortly.
For this week, note that Taste and See is a different version than we've been using, so please review (it's been a year or so). I also have no record of the last time we sang We Are the Light, so might be worth taking a peek at as well.

Also, if anyone could use a hand learning the music for Masses and/or has questions, Bev has offered to help folks in the half-hour or so before rehearsal. If interested, just show up around 4:00. Thanks!

UPDATE: 01/29: Please note a couple of tweaks to Mass due to Blessing of Throats (program HERE). We won't be singing the Penitential Rite, instead doing a Blessing of Candles. A Blessing of Throats will also be done before the Closing song. Also added revised Feb. selections.

Finally, looking ahead, Jim and Bev are out on 02/29, so we're sorting out piano coverage. Stay tuned.
