Feast of Christ the King
Just a heads up that I might be a bit late to practice and won't be able to stick around afterward (I'm coming over between two performances of a play). I'm hoping to have everything set up ahead of time, but if not, it might be worth arriving slightly early to get situated.
For The King of Glory, don't forget the dynamic change between the refrain and verses. Also note that The Lord's Prayer will be chanted, rather than spoken. Finally, four cantors are needed for the verses on Bring Forth the Kingdom.
Advent begins next Saturday, 11/30. The tentative music (not finalized/sent to the Office yet) can be found HERE. Note that we'll only have a chance to do many of these pieces once, so look ahead and make sure you're prepared for them. Don't forget to review Mass of Joy & Peace as well.
No Christmas rehearsal after Mass, but please continue working on those preludes. As it stands, we only have four rehearsals left -- if everyone could learn their parts (especially on Masters), that would go a long way towards putting us in a good place. Rehearsal materials are linked below.
