Special thanks to Bev and Maggie for a lovely Assumption Mass last Wednesday! There were only three of us, but it sounded quite nice. Audio HERE.

 For the first time in a while, we were more-or-less at full strength for regular Mass. Thanks to all who were able to be there! It was great to 'get the band back together' after having many of us in and out in recent weeks due to summer activities. Audio HERE.

I've started the process of picking music for September. We've been doing a lot of the same tunes lately, so as summer comes to a close, I'm going to start diversifying again. As always, I'm open to suggestions if there are pieces you'd like to do. The same goes for Advent/Christmas -- the season will sneak up on us fast, and I'm still looking for instrumental and choral preludes.

 As previously discussed, this week will be a Guitar Mass. We're likely going to be very short on instrumentalists, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Please be on time for practice so we have a chance to work through everything (not just regular music, but Mass Parts as well).

Finally, a reminder that our end-of-summer dinner/get-together is on the board for next Saturday, 08/31. Don't forget to sign up (HERE) if you haven't already. I'd invite everyone (even if you don't normally attend) to stick around and celebrate the end of summer with us! We may even move outdoors if the weather's nice :-).

 Bev is out this week (Wellspring gig); Ken & Maggie are tentatively out as well.

 UPDATE: 08/20: Maggie and Ken are confirmed out. I'll be breaking out my saxophone to help fill in some of the gaps.
