For those not aware, Ginny's sister passed away last Monday; Ginny's husband Scott also lost his step-mother. Please keep Ginny and her family in your prayers this week.
As far as our music for September, please disregard what was sent yesterday. I just found out this afternoon that Father would like to use common Gathering/Closing and Offertory songs all month for the Season of Creation. The Psalms shouldn't be effected, but I'll probably select different Communion songs each week to help balance things out. On the bright side, this will allow us to focus on a smaller number of different pieces for a few weeks. Stay tuned for revised selections...
The debut concert for the "new" Group Therapy will be next Saturday, 09/08, at 7 PM at Moonstock. Jim, Eva and Charlie (new violinist) now make up the group. Come check out the show!
Barb asked me to invite everyone to participate in the 'ARISE' Liturgy on Sunday, 09/30, at 3 PM. Father would like a large, energetic choir for this event. The program is still being put together, but so far, there's one new song to look at if you're interested in attending: We Arise (GC3 #854).
