This Saturday is the 5th Sunday of Easter.
Thanks for another solid Mass last week! Storrington Mass seems to be coming along nicely, especially the Gloria and Alleluia. We could definitely use additional harmony, but making sure everyone has the melody lines down is more critical.
The only other note I have on regular Mass music is we were pushing the tempo a bit on several songs. A reminder to watch and listen so these tunes maintain a relatively consistent tempo.
Our Closing song, Christ is Risen, is new. Please look this over before Saturday. I haven't been able to find much on this song, but it doesn't look too bad. Let's make this one a priority at practice.
Likewise, instrumentalists may want to review your parts for Resucito. Father has this on the board one or two more times in the coming weeks.
UPDATE: 05/12: Tim had something come up at work and won't be at Mass on Saturday.
UPDATE: 05/13: Maggie won't be back until next Saturday, 05/20.
