Season of Creation:
"To Hope and Act with Creation"
26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Nicely done last week! Everything come together really well and it was great to have many of you back! Special thanks to Victoria for playing in Bev's absence. Storrington Mass is sounding nice; the harmonies on The Servant Song were also lovely :-). Here's the audio.

A reminder that Victoria will be playing again this week. The two of us are meeting this evening to review the music. Bev will be returning next weekend, October 5th.

I'm in the process of selecting music for October. The Season of Creation wraps up this weekend, so we'll be back to celebrating 'normal' Ordinary Time. The only special liturgies in the next month or so will be All Saints & All Souls (will confirm the schedule and who's covering what -- stay tuned!).

The food signup for our November 2nd Fall Potluck is now available! Please let Bev know what you're bringing so that we can plan accordingly. Do join us if you can!

Looking ahead to Christmas, I'd like to schedule some 3:30 (or 3:00?) rehearsals in October to look at music. Please let me know if you're planning to be around for Christmas Eve (Mass schedule TBD -- possibly 6:00 or 8:00 PM). Having a solid sense of numbers will really help with music planning. If it looks like we'll be sort-handed again, we may want to look at pulling in others to fill in the gaps.

Enjoy the Fall weather and see you Saturday!

(All Mass Parts, except the Gospel Acclamation, are from Storrington Mass, including Holy, Eucharistic Acclamation 'B' (When We Eat This Bread), Doxology & Lamb of God)

Out: Luca, Bev

Entrance:
GC3 #810 - Let Justice Flow Like a River (vs 1-2) (Haugen)
Materials (**links removed**)

**Please take a look if unfamiliar! We've only done this once before. We'll split the verses between Gathering & Closing, which worked well before. It would also be nice to include the harmonies :-).

Would anyone be interested in cantoring the verses? I did this last time, but if you'd like to give it a try, go for it! Otherwise, we could sing them together. Just keep in mind that the melodies are all different.**

(Glory to God)

Responsorial Ps (Ginny):
SS #056 - Ps 19 - Your Words Are Spirit and Life (Farrell)
Materials (**links removed**)

**If interested, there's a version of this in the folder with four-part harmonies. I believe we've included the alto and tenor parts in the past. I can bring extra copies if needed.**

Acclamation (Jake):
SS #005 (GC3 #844) - Alleluia! Give the Glory (vs 3 or 4) (Canedo)

Preparation:
GC3 #749 - Where Your Treasure Is (vs 1-3) (Haugen)
Materials (**links removed**)

**This is another we've only done a few times before. Harmonies would great! Let's plan to sing the first three verses only; verse 4 has a different melody (we likely won't have time for it anyway).**

(Mass Parts)

Communion:
GC3 #932 (SS #161) - One Bread, One Body (Foley)
Materials (**links removed**)

**Would someone like to get this started while everyone else goes up to receive? Including the descant & harmonies would lovely!**

Commendation:
Song of Farewell (Schutte)

Closing:
GC3 #810 - Let Justice Flow Like a River (vs 3-5) (Haugen)
