19th Sunday in Ordinary Time

A huge thanks to Virginia for playing for us last week! I also appreciate everyone's flexibility with everything that was going on. It was yet another solid Mass and several folks passed along their compliments :-). Here's the audio.
Paul has been doing some investigating with the piano monitor. It appears to have some hardware issues (potentially bad capacitors), which would explain a number of issues (connecting a known-good monitor worked perfectly). More to come on this!
Some of you may be aware that the tile floors in the Sanctuary & Gathering Space are being cleaned this Thursday, August 8th. Since all of the chairs need to be moved as part of that process, it's possible we may need to reset a few things in the choir area on Saturday. Just wanted to give you a heads up!
Don't forget that we're meeting at 3:30 PM this Saturday to look at Storrington Mass. We'll start with the Holy, When We Eat This Bread, Doxology/Amen & Lamb of God, before looping back to the Gloria. Since we have a number of folks out, let's plan to do the same on the 17th.
On a similar note, we'll likely need everyone on mics this week. We can either gather around the guitar stand or spread out at the choir mics like normal (as long as we can see/hear each other!).
A reminder that the Feast of the Assumption will be celebrated next Wednesday, August 14th @ 7 PM (music is up on the website) & Thursday, August 15th @ 9 AM. All are welcome to come sing/play!
Finally, we're still working on coverage for August 24th. We may have a lead or two and might end up tweaking the music if needed. Stay tuned.
