Thanks to everyone who was able to make it last week! The program came together pretty well, with several folks passing along positive comments after Mass. Here's the audio.
I also appreciate the help and patience with sorting out our sound system issues! We determined that the iPad battery was completely drained (likely from additional use during the week). Once it had a chance to charge, it came back online (the mixer & power supply seem fine). Since the mixer was working and the mics are now well-balanced, not having control for part of Mass wasn't an issue.
On a related note, Barb H. ran into a weird issue recently where the settings for the 10:30 preset were temporarily corrupted (the levels were all wrong). Paul learned that this can happen if a preset is 'recalled' too quickly after powering up the iPad. The 'fix' is to recall a different preset and then go back to the one you need. Just a heads up in case anyone runs into this!
Our music for August should be ready by next week. Thanks for all of the updates on availability -- as we make our way through Summer, that's been really helpful! We're also still sorting out coverage for August 3rd. Bev is out and none of the Sunday pianists are available. Stay tuned!
Not to sound like a broken record, but we do need to look at Storrington Mass for real this week. Let's pick up where we left off with the Gloria. Time-permitting, we can go through other parts too. And if everyone's open to this, I'd like to meet at 3:30 on August 10th and/or 17th to give us a bit more time.
