Here's to another strong Mass last week! We had everyone on mics once more and the program came together pretty nicely. Several folks mentioned really enjoying the music, so nicely done!
Here's the audio -- the recorder was in a much better spot this time :-).
Thanks to Paul & Joe for continuing to fine-tune the sound system! This will likely be an ongoing project for the next few weeks. A few quick updates:
- Paul made more adjustments during rehearsal & was our 'ears' in the congregation during Mass.
- We're looking at adding a plastic cover to the mixer to prevent the (very sensitive!) knobs from accidently being bumped.
- Paul is looking into issues with the piano mic, which doesn't appear to be working correctly.
- The three of us created new presets for the Sunday folks, which seemed to work well.
Also, I've finished drafting a rotation of Mass Settings going into 2025. Once this has been finalized, we'll put a copy in the binder in the choir area. The info has been added to our calendar too. I don't believe we've ever had a written schedule before, so that should really help with planning.
Finally, our Quarterly Potluck is now on the board for Saturday, July 6th after Mass (~6:15-8:30 PM). Bev will be sending a signup soon. It's been close to a year (!) since we last did one of these, so please join us. Thanks again to Bev for organizing!
