5th Sunday of Easter / First Communion

Thanks for a great Mass last week! The program came together really well and it was wonderful being nearly fully-staffed. Check out the audio here.
This week we celebrate First Communion! A few rehearsal/Mass logistics:
- If you're able, 'formal' Christmas/Easter attire would be great!
- Please plan to meet at 3:30 PM; with everything going on, that'll give us some wiggle room.
- There will be printed programs, but we can still post numbers on the hymn boards as usual.
- Special thanks to Luca (flute) & Mike (bass) for joining us! Many of our Sunday musicians had conflicts, but please fill in any others if they join us. Mike will be situated behind the organ & Luca can use the mic closest to the drums. Everyone else can be in your usual spots.
- One tweak to the program -- rather than singing Living Water for Sprinkling, we'll use the same combined Gloria/Sprinkling from the last few weeks.
- Since we'll only have 3 dedicated vocalists, please stay on top of the mics & sing out! We should also do a sound check to make sure everything balances OK.
- Please review the music before Saturday -- there are several songs that we don't do often, like We Come to Your Feast & Sing a New Song.
I've been negligent of our prayer & warmups in recent weeks. Let's make it a point to do these this week. Please remind me if I forget :-).
After Mass will be our Stewardship/Time, Talent & Treasure event in Agape Hall. I believe Carolyn L. & I are manning the Prayer & Worship table. If you're able to stick around to help with recruiting, that would be great! Feel free to approach people who might be interested in joining us (personal invites are always best :-). We really need additional musicians to be sustainable!
Looking ahead, our music & cantor schedule for May should be ready in the next couple of weeks. There are some special events to plan for, including May Crowning (05/06), Ascension (05/11), Mother's Day (05/12), Pentecost (05/18), Trinity (05/25) and Memorial Day (05/27), so stay tuned.
I think that's it. Looking forward to this special celebration and see you Saturday!
(All Mass Parts, except the Gospel Acclamation, are from Mass of Remembrance, including the Gloria, Holy, Eucharistic Acclamation 'B' (Save Us, Savior), Doxology & Lamb of God)
