Nice work last week! It's pretty rare for Solemnity of Mary to be a regular weekend Mass, so I appreciate your taking the time on New Year's Eve to come out! Everything sounded great and it was wonderful to end 2022 on a high note. Here's the audio.

Happy New Year! This week's celebration of Epiphany is the last Mass of the Christmas season; next week, we return to Ordinary Time until Lent begins at the end of February.

Our music & cantor schedule for January is ready. Let me know if you see any issues. I'm also working on February (including tentative Lent music -- not sure yet if we'll have a theme). And since we're back to planning our own music, we'll likely start working a bit ahead during rehearsals.

I'll have a card available on Saturday for those who'd like to write a thank you and/or happy retirement note for Fr. Charlie (no pressure!). I'll make sure it gets to him later either in person or via mail.

On a similar note, a reminder about Fr. Charlie's sendoff gathering this Sunday, 01/08, after the 10:15 AM Mass. There will be a variety of refreshments. All are invited to attend.

Both Wood of the Cradle and Epiphany Carol are pieces we've only done once or twice before. Please take a look if they're unfamiliar. Including parts would be nice.

Finally, looking ahead, next week will be our first with Fr. Jozef. If possible, it would be great to have everyone there. I'll let you know if we receive any guidance or changes to how we're celebrating Mass (we're not expecting anything major). Stay tuned.
