Good work last week! It was nice to be more fully-staffed again and include some of the harmonies. Check out the audio here.
This past Sunday (06/12) marked one year since the choirs came back together after the COVID shutdown. Thanks so much for all your work & patience over the past 12 months! There's still much being sorted out, but it's great to see things looking more 'normal' again.
As discussed, since last week, we're back to mask-optional -- COVID cases are once again low/in the green, but you're welcome to continue masking if desired.
Father has some more recent additions to our repertoire on the program for Gathering & Sending. Please take a look if either of these are unfamiliar. We've only done them maybe twice before.
For Come to the Feast, the basic melody & arrangement is the same in both books. I believe we decided to use the GC accompaniment, though, which isn't as messy. We'll sing the English-only text. There are no harmonies in the books, but the choral version below has parts if anyone's interested :-).
Finally, looking ahead, next Saturday, 06/25, we return to Ordinary Time. I'm assuming we'll switch Mass Settings as well (probably Mass of Creation), but stay tuned. We also have several folks out that weekend (Ken, Maggie, Ginny & Tom); please let me know if you're also unavailable so we can plan.
That's it for now. Enjoy the nice weather and see you Saturday!
