Thanks to all who were able to be there last week! Considering how much we had to cover, everything come together pretty well, with only a few minor hiccups (mostly my fault :-). Here's the audio.
Father has two traditional hymns planned for Gathering & Sending. Please take a look if unfamiliar. I don't see a need to get fancy with these, but would like to keep them as upbeat as possible.
It looks like we need someone to cantor the Psalm -- any takers? We may also need a cantor for the Acclamation (if Ginny's unable to make it).
I don't think we've done Life-Giving Bread, Saving Cup for a Saturday before, but I'm guessing you all know this one. It would be nice to include that soprano descant if anyone's feeling adventurous :-).
Finally, an issue we're try to address is minimizing delays when starting songs. One of the tweaks that might help is changing how we're handling announcing. Rather than me doing it (walking back & forth to the mics is sometimes problematic), perhaps one of you would be willing to announce instead? No pressure, though; just a thought.
