Songs & Updates for Saturday, May 21, 2022 [updated]

6th Sunday of Easter

Thanks for another solid Mass last week! Everything come together pretty well and there was some nice harmony. Father passed along his compliments. Check out the audio here.

I believe we've only done Father's Gathering song, Christ Has Risen, once before. Please take a look if it's unfamiliar (sorry, I don't have much on this one since it's a bit obscure).

The Psalm is another I don't think we've done for a Saturday before. It may be worth reviewing.

There are several activities in the Sanctuary on Saturday, including an early afternoon wedding. I'm not expecting any issues or conflicts with rehearsal, but a heads up just in case.

Looking ahead, we have multiple back-to-back Feast Days starting next week: Ascension (05/28), Pentecost (06/04), Trinity (06/11) and Body & Blood (06/18). After that, we return to Ordinary Time. It would be nice to be fairly well-staffed for those special liturgies.

Finally, as we approach summer, please keep everyone in-the-loop on any weekends you'll be out so we can plan. Summer has traditionally been tricky for coverage and just want to avoid surprises :-).
