5th Sunday of Easter

Good work last Saturday! We had several shepherd-themed songs on the program and the vocals sounded nice (especially Shepherd of My Heart). Here's the audio.
Looking at this week's music, we typically sing Shine, Jesus, Shine for Sending, rather than Gathering. Our usual a capella repeat of the refrain at the end should still work, though. Let's plan to do that.
Let Us Rejoice and Be Glad is a version of Psalm 118 that we hadn't done before. Please take a look.
For I Could Sing of Your Love Forever, we'll probably structure it something like this:
- Intro (8 bars)
- Verse
- Refrain (melody only)
- Bridge
- Refrain (add harmony; repeat as needed/final ending)
We should also take some time to review the rhythms, especially on the verse & bridge (these sections are sometimes tricky to keep together).
Finally, I don't believe we've done Now the Green Blade Rises for a Saturday before, but the tune should be familiar (think Sing We Now of Christmas from a few years ago).
We have quite a bit to cover, so let's try to start as close to 4 PM as possible. Thanks as always for everything you do and see you then!
