Nice job last week! Everything's sounding great and it's definitely feeling more like the pre-Pandemic days. It was wonderful to have more folks return and even a singer from 9 AM join us. Audio HERE.
Thanks to those who were able to help with the Memorial Mass for Michael! We were a small group, but the family was very appreciative.
Assumption falls on a weekend this year. If you're not familiar with any of the Mary-themed songs, please take a look -- we don't do these too often for regular Masses.
Bev is on vacation (enjoy!), so Joanne is covering piano this week.
Per the Bishop, the obligation to attend in-person Mass has been restored. It's possible we'll see an uptick in Mass attendance, but unlikely with recent COVID concerns. In light of that, please feel free to wear a mask if desired; there's just been no official guidance one way or the other.
Finally, Bev and I have been discussing reintroducing preludes, perhaps in September. We have plenty of instrumental & vocal pieces that could be used. Stay tuned; I may be looking for volunteers :-).
