The Nativity of the Lord
Hello again! Here's the final plan for Christmas Eve. I'm not anticipating any more changes, but will let you know if anything crops up. Thanks for all of your hard work and flexibility in pulling together this program. Looking forward to a great celebration on Tuesday! As it stands, our group consists of Bev, Jonathan, Joe, Ginny, Lisa, Sam, Jeff, Pat and myself. If anyone else is (or is not) going to be there, please let me know so we can plan accordingly.
The choir space setup in Agape Hall should be the same as last year (something like THIS or THIS). As far as equipment, only a few music stands will be needed for the podium and guitar (unless singers would like stands?). Instrumentalists should bring books over from the Church and any necessary gear; I'd ask that singers have all music in your binders (will have a few extras available) so we can reduce the number of books/loose papers floating around.
Since there's only a handful of us, we'll all be on mics most of the time. Please keep in mind how 'flat' the acoustics are in this space (ie sound doesn't resonate across the room) -- we'll need to carefully balance things ahead of time and really take advantage of the mics. Huge thanks to Joe for handling sound equipment setup!
