Thanks for a solid a capella Mass last week! Maggie and Joe played unaccompanied in Jim and Bev's absence. There was some nice harmony on several pieces, including the Mass Parts. Doing the music for liturgy this way obviously isn't ideal, but it does force us to get a bit creative and try different things. I appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility in pulling together the program. Check out the audio HERE. We should mostly be back to normal this week.

Our music for September (HERE) has been approved with no changes. The only tweak I made was swapping out the Psalm on 09/28 with the GC version (cantor's request).

Another lighting system update: the new digital panel is password-protected. If you have a need to bring up the lights (and I'm not around), see Father for assistance (or call/text me).

Please take a look at the voice parts for Touch the Earth Lightly -- we'll be doing this for the next several weeks, so it would be nice to include as many of those parts as possible. Likewise, it may be worth reviewing the verses/parts on O Taste and See. Also, don't forget to work on Age to Age, which we'll be introducing a couple of weeks from now (let's plan to touch on this again during practice).

Finally, a reminder that we're still in need of choral/instrumental preludes for Christmas. If you have any ideas, let me know! I'm also open to suggestions for non-GC arrangements of regular Christmas Mass music -- the congregation won't have hymnals, so as long as the basic tunes and text are the same, we could pull scores from other sources if desired. Just something to consider.
