7th Sunday of Easter
If you're singing/playing for Ascension on Wednesday, 05/29, rehearsal will be at 6 PM. The final program can be found HERE (this is a revision from what was originally sent). As it stands now, Bev, Maggie, Ken and I are planning to be there (feel free to come join us!).
For Ascension, keep in mind that This Is a Day of New Beginnings is new. Also, it would be nice to include the canon and/or ostinato refrain on God Mounts His Throne. The rest of the program consists of mostly familiar/traditional selections (Hail the Day that Sees Him Rise, Be Not Afraid and A Hymn of Glory Let Us Sing).
The music for June has been sent to the office for approval. Will let you know of any changes. For Saturday, please take a look at the Spirit & Song version of All the Ends of the Earth (we've only done it once before). Also, a reminder that Behold the Lamb is new, so don't forget to review it.
Finally, a heads up that we're tentatively switching back to Mass of Creation on the last Saturday of June (06/29). This coincides with our return to Ordinary Time.
