Christmas Eve
This is a dedicated post for Christmas Eve dress rehearsals and Mass. Huge thanks for all of your efforts over the past month, and looking forward to a great Christmas liturgy!
The final program and rehearsal plan is below. Please note a few changes from what was sent last weekend. I dropped God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and moved Bev's Greensleeves into the Communion Meditation slot. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas was also replaced with Finale for Christmas.
Bev, Maggie, Lisa, Ginny, Ken, Mary, Joe, Jonathan (tentative), Barry (tentative), Tom and I are onboard. Jim will be out.
As far as logistics, please make sure to bring your:
- Black binders (with copies of all music)
- Music stands
- Any necessary sound equipment
Joe has once again offered to handle sound equipment for us, so he'll be getting everything set up during regular Mass tomorrow (Saturday) evening. As a reminder, we usually end up with 2-3 wired/wireless mics that go through the Parish Hall's sound system; everything else (guitar, violin, piano and percussion) will need to be jacked into dedicated amps or Joe's mixer. Keep in mind that the acoustics in the Hall are very 'flat', so we'll probably need to rely on the sound system quite a bite in order to project across the room.
