Season of Creation:
23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Thanks for a solid piano-based Mass last week! Attendance was a bit light with the home game, but everything come together pretty well. They Who Do Justice and Worthy Is the Lamb were highlights. We ran into some issues with the sound system, though, so a few of us may be getting together to do some troubleshooting.

The revised music (pending Office approval) and cantor schedule for September is ready to go. As you know, we'll be using Canticle of the Sun and Touch the Earth Lightly as common songs for the the Season of Creation (first three weeks of September only; no common Communion song). If you have a chance, please take a look a the voice parts for these two pieces.

Looking ahead, Table Song is on the board next Saturday, 09/15, for Offertory. This is a new piece that Father originally wanted us to do in August. Please take some time to work on it.

Finally, there's a wedding scheduled for 1:30 PM on Saturday -- these generally don't interfere with practice, but wanted to give you a heads up just in case. If needed, we could temporarily relocate to another room until the festivities wrap up.
