This Saturday is the 3rd Sunday of Easter.
We had a small crew last week, but didn't run into any major issues. Special thanks to Jonathan, Eva, Joe and Tom for the instrument coverage. I would say This is the Day and Shine, Jesus, Shine were our strongest pieces of the night -- check them out here and here.
I would suggest spending some extra time working on the Gloria and Alleluia. Both are getting there, but if we're not confident in singing them, than neither will the congregation. My understanding is we'll continue using Storrington Mass through at least the end of the Easter season.
Resucito is on the board again this week as the Communion song. Since it's a bit short, we did an instrumental of another song while everyone went up to receive, and then started Resucito after that. We've done this song before, but if you're not familiar with the tune, please look it over.
I'm still working on picking the music for May. I'm hoping to have this sent to the Office by early next week.
If you need me for anything, feel free to email or call. Otherwise, I'll leave things in Eva and Jim's capable hands. See you on the 6th!
