This Saturday is Trinity Sunday.
With the exception of some minor tempo issues and a couple of unclear cues on my part, Mass last week was pretty solid. Thanks once again to Jonathan for covering guitar and to everyone who was able to be there!
I did make the obligatory announcement after Mass for volunteers and several of us stuck around for the Time & Talent Fair, but didn't have any luck.
As mentioned previously, Debbie, a potential pianist, may be joining us this week. Welcome to the group!
Our Psalm, 'How Glorious is Your Name', is one we've never done before. This looks to be a particularly tricky song, so please look it over before Saturday. I've cantored quite a bit over the past few weeks, so if someone would be interested in learning it, please let me know.
We have several songs with quite a bit of harmony potential, namely 'Holy Spirit', 'I Am the Bread of Life' and 'You Are the Voice'. If you're familiar with the parts on any of these, don't be afraid to use them :-)
Tom suggested staying after Mass this week to rehearse. He's also offered to bring a bite to eat. If you're interested/available to do this, please let me know ASAP. It might also be a good opportunity to discuss planning and logistics as we head into the summer.
Maggie let me know that she, Jim and Jonathan will be out on Saturday, 5/28. I'm looking into seeing who's available to cover.
