This Saturday is Pentecost Sunday.
Mass last weekend was probably our strongest in quite a while. Huge thanks to everyone who was able to be there! We did have a visiting priest, but with the exception of the Gloria (and with a few tweaks to the other Mass Parts), everything went very smoothly. Special thanks to Maggie for cantoring the Psalm and really nice job all around on 'I Am the Bread of Life' :-)
There's a wedding scheduled for 2:30 PM on Saturday, so there's a possibility that getting underway with practice might be slightly delayed.
Note that we'll only be using the middle two verses of our Gathering song, 'In This Place'. These two best fit the readings, and the song is a bit long for Gathering otherwise.
If you'd be interested in cantoring the Psalm, 'Lord, Send Out Your Spirit', please let me know.
'With One Voice' is a piece we haven't done in quite a while. Let's plan to spend extra time at practice pulling this together. If you're not familiar with the tune, please look it over before Saturday.
Finally, just a reminder that the Time & Talent Fair follows Mass this week -- if you're available to stick around and promote our group, that would be great!
No practice after Mass this week.
