This Saturday is the Seventh Sunday of Easter.
Sorry for the lack of updates this week -- to put it mildly, it's been a very eventful week for me. We also weren't at mass last week.
Jonathan and Karina are playing a wedding gig this weekend. Barry will be out on Retreat.
UPDATE: as per Jonathan's email (5/29) and Christina's (5/30), the entire guitar section (including Jim, who was hurt while trail-climbing last Sunday) is out this week, so Father will be directing music.
I'm still planning to be at the Church at 4:30 PM to run songs. It would be great to have at least one more melodic instrument to fill things out more, but we'll run with whoever is able to make it. If nothing else, I'll work with Father to make sure we're on the same page with song intros, etc..
We won't be doing the Gloria. Father will cover the Psalm, but we'll need someone on the Alleluia. The rest of our selections have been revised slightly to accommodate all this.
Finally, we will NOT be practicing after mass since there likely won't be enough people to make it worth-while (and no dinner arrangements have been made). It's looking like Saturday will be interesting...
