29th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Thanks for another strong Mass last week! At the New Parishioner Reception afterward, there were quite a few positive comments on our music (from both current and new parishioners alike), so nicely done! Check out the audio here.
Special thanks to Ginny for pulling Violet into the mix! Violet's family joined the Parish last year; she sings at the 10:30 Mass, along with her brother, who plays violin. This was their first time at a Saturday Mass, so they now have a standing invitation to join us any time :-).
Please welcome back Victoria on piano! She'll be covering for Bev this Saturday. The two of us are meeting tonight (Tuesday) to review the music, so everything should be in good shape.
The Parish's annual Fall Festival is on Saturday from 9 AM - 2 PM. I'm told there will be many craft vendors, food, music and kids activities. Our Fundraising Committee (including Ginny!) has been working hard to put this together, so please come out if you're able!
Last week, Bev, Jake and I started taking a look at Christmas Eve preludes. If you're planning to sing/play for Christmas, please work on the music before our next rehearsal on Oct. 26th @ 3:30 PM:
If it's helpful, we also have 2021 videos of the first two pieces here and here (also on the website). More to come as we sort out logistics. And hopefully we can pull in some others!
Finally, I'll be selecting November music in the next couple of weeks. If you haven't already, please let me know of any Saturdays you're out so that we can plan accordingly. I'll include music for All Souls', but may need to hold off on the 1st Sunday of Advent until we have a plan for the season. Stay tuned!
Stay warm and have a great week!
(All Mass Parts, except the Gospel Acclamation, are from Storrington Mass, including Holy, Eucharistic Acclamation 'B' (When We Eat This Bread), Doxology & Lamb of God)
Out: Luca, Bev, Ginny, Jake (sick), Lisa
Entrance:
SS #151 - Come to the Lord (Angrisano/Tomaszek)
Materials (**links removed**)
**This song is a bit on the long side, but let's plan to sing all three verses; also, don't forget about the key change at the end.**
(Glory to God)
Responsorial Ps (Lisa Cris):
GC3 #044 - Ps 33 - Let Your Mercy Be On Us (Ref I) (Haugen)
Materials (**links removed**)
**We may want to look at doing this as a small group; if anyone would be interested in singing the alto and tenor parts on the refrain and verses 3 & 4, that would be lovely!**
Acclamation (Ben):
SS #005 (GC3 #844) - Alleluia! Give the Glory (vs 3 or 4) (Canedo)
Preparation:
SS #122 - In This Place (Thomson)
Materials (**links removed**)
**We'll likely only get through 2-3 verses. If anyone's up for it, including the two lower harmonies on the refrain would be nice.**
(Mass Parts)
Communion:
SS #170 (GC3 #683) - Be Not Afraid (Dufford)
Materials (**links removed**)
**As always, let's make sure we're singing the rhythms the same way! Also, there's harmonies for verse 3 in the GC version if anyone would like to take a look.**
Commendation:
Song of Farewell (Schutte) [if needed]
Song of Farewell (Schutte) [if needed]
Closing:
GC3 #778 - Anthem (Conry)
