Songs & Updates for Saturday, June 29, 2024

13th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Image Credit: West Palm Beach Church of Christ

Nice job last week! Once again, the balance is sounding great and there were several positive comments on the music. I appreciate everyone coming out, as always! Here's the audio

Thanks to Paul for his continued work on the sound system (and helping us out on vocals too)! The updated compressor & equalizer settings have been copied over to the Sunday profiles. He also did some more balancing on Sunday.

A reminder that the Memorial Mass for Mark H. is this Saturday @ 2 PM. For those able to sing/play, we'll meet @ 1:00 PM. See Joanne's emails for details. If you weren't able to attend last Sunday's rehearsal, please look at Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone); the rest should be familiar.

After the Memorial Mass, our Saturday schedule will be the same as usual. Just be aware that there may be more activity in/around the building than normal. And if you're interested in helping, I'll likely stay through to do some more choir area reorganizing between Masses.

In other news, Joanne brought in a small wooden table that can used by instrumentalists for keeping books & materials during Masses. It's stored under the work table. Feel free to use it!

I'm in the process of selecting music for July. If you haven't already, please let me know of any Saturdays you're out so that we can plan accordingly. I'll do my best to not go crazy with music :-).

Finally, a reminder that next Saturday,  07/06, will be our potluck after Mass. Please RSVP so that we can make sure everything's covered. Also, if you have anything that needs prepped, please come early (anytime between 3:00-3:45 PM) so that we don't lose rehearsal time. I'll be around if you need help.

I think that's it. See you Saturday!
