4th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Thanks for another great Mass last week! It was wonderful being at nearly full-staff for the second week in a row, and there were quite a few positive comments on the music. Pulling out We Are One Body again was especially fun. Here's the audio.
Our music & cantor schedule for February is ready to go. As always, let me know if any issues.
At a meeting last week, there was discussion about revising the Mass schedule again. Nothing's been decided yet, but if you have any preferences on Sat/Sun Mass times (especially returning to two Sunday Masses), a survey will probably be available soon.
Joanne's been doing some reorganizing in the choir cabinet. I'd like to do the same on our side. If anyone's interested in helping, let me know. Besides general cleanup, there's a bunch of music to file.
Bev reminded me that it's been a while since we've done an after-Mass dinner. Since several new folks have joined us recently and we're no longer under COVID restrictions, it would be nice to start doing these again (perhaps quarterly). I may try to get something on the board for February.
Since Fr. Jozef joined us, Masses have consistently finished in an hour or less, even with a crowd. So far, Fr. Jozef doesn't seem concerned with the length/amount of music we use, but he definitely does like to keep things moving. Anything we can do to avoid delays & be efficient would be helpful.
If anyone's available to help, we have two funeral Masses coming up soon: the first is this Saturday @ 10 AM; the second is on Tuesday, 01/31, @ 11 AM. I'll forward the details separately.
Looking at this week's program, we're splitting We Are the Light of the World for Gathering & Sending. I'd like to replicate the tempo & feel of the recording below, which was just about perfect.
For Come to Me, O Weary Traveler, it would be great to include all four parts, starting on verse 2. The final verse can also be sung a capella. Getting through all four verses shouldn't be an issue.
Finally, please take a look at Lead Us to Your Table if it's unfamiliar. We've sung this once before, but ran into some issues with entrances (mostly my fault!). I'm hoping to clean those up this time.
That's all for now. Stay safe during tomorrow's storm and see you Saturday!
