Things sounded great last week! It was wonderful to be largely fully-staffed again and to sing some classics. Several people passed along their compliments. We also made quite a bit of progress with Holy Week music. Here's the audio.

Folks, we have a lot to cover on Saturday. Please be on time & make sure you're familiar with at least melody on everything. I'll try to be as efficient as possible with rehearsal.

Father's Gathering & Sending songs are new. They're both written as cantor/response with plenty of repeating phrases. I'll take the verses unless anyone's interested. There's no need to get too fancy with these, but feel free to pick up parts if you're able. Otherwise, sticking with the basics is fine.

There have been some tweaks to Holy Week programs. For Good Friday, here's the revised program. We mostly shuffled some things around & dropped/added a song. Bambelela (audio & music) is a piece Father wants to include. We'll take a peek to see if it's doable; if not, there's a recording to play instead.

A reminder that we're meeting at 3 PM again this week. Depending on what things look like, we might want to consider squeezing in one more rehearsal (but we can discuss later).

Finally, if you're singing for Holy Thurs, Vigil or Easter Sun, please come to our joint rehearsal on Tues, 04/12 @ 7 PM (instrumentalists should definitely attend). Joanne will go through critical pieces.

UPDATE 04/09: Tuesday's rehearsal will now begin at 7:30 PM due to a possible conflict with a Minister rehearsal.
