Feast of the Holy Family
Last Saturday, we were largely at full-staff and ended the Advent season on a high note. Special thanks to Mary and Jonathan for joining us! If you haven't already, check out the audio HERE.
Huge thanks to those who were able to sing/play for Christmas Eve! This Mass was several months in the making and came together exceptionally well. The children's portion went off without a hitch and we got quite a bit of positive feedback on the music. Awesome work! Audio can be found HERE (I also have photos/video if anyone's interested).
On a similar note, please don't forget to return your black binders. We'll reuse these for Easter (If you have any suggestions, it's not too early to start thinking about music :-). The loose sheet music can also be returned/filed away for next Christmas.
I'm working on selecting the music/cantors for January, and should have that ready in the next week or so. Stay tuned.
This Saturday marks the final regular Mass of 2019. Here's to another great year of music-making! Sometime in January, we should meet after Mass for dinner and 2020 planning. If there are any evenings that month that don't work, let me know.
Lord, Today is a piece we've only done once or twice before; please take a look if unfamiliar. Also note that the Gloria is being reintroduced and will immediately follow the Penitential Rite.
Finally, Mass for New Year's Day / Solemnity of Mary is being held on Wednesday, 01/01, at 10 AM. There's no anticipated Mass planned. Will pass along further details as I receive them.
