Feast of the Body & Blood of Christ
Thanks for a solid celebration of Trinity last week! It definitely felt like a summer Mass with a lighter crowd and a few small hiccups along the way. No major issues, though :-). Special thanks to Ken and Lisa for doing a lovely job on the Psalm. Recordings can be found HERE.

We make the switch to Mass of Creation this week. Don't forget to review the 'Assembly' parts for the Penitential Rite, as we haven't done this one before (I'm assuming Father will sing the 'Presider' parts). For the Eucharistic Acclamation, we'll be singing "When We Eat This Bread". We'll also likely do some form of alternate tropes for the Lamb of God, even though none are written.

There's currently an initiative to make permanent name tags for all registered parishioners. The process is just getting started this weekend, so these probably won't be ready until later in the summer. In the interim, given how 'visible' we are, it might not be a bad idea to set an example early with name tags of our own. If nothing else, it could help us down the line with recruiting/promoting the Ministry. We can discuss more later, but just something to think about.

Looking ahead, I'm considering doing a patriotic song as a postlude for Mass on 07/06 (4th of July weekend). It's probably too late to organize anything too fancy, but if enough folks are available, perhaps a very simple choral piece would suffice (open to suggestions). Stay tuned.

Ken and Brad are out this week; Ginny is tentatively out as well.
