This Saturday is the Fourth Sunday of Lent.
Karina and I were both out last week, so I don't have many updates.
According to Paul, the issues we've been having with the sound system have finally been resolved. The system should now be working as well as it was the very first week it was brought online.
I'll be attending the Triduum Planning Meeting on Thursday evening to see what the plan is for Easter (Christina: can you please confirm that this is still on?). I'll let you guys know what shakes out.
- TRIDUUM PLANNING MEETING HIGHLIGHTS:
- We'll continue to use Mass of Remembrance throughout Easter (we'll need to learn the Gloria).
- We'll be covering the 2 PM Good Friday and 9 AM Easter Sunday Parish Hall masses (tentative).
- We may possibly be starting a new tradition Palm Sunday with an outdoor procession into the Church at the beginning of mass -- Father will let us know if we're doing this or not so we can plan accordingly.
- The Holy Thursday mass will essentially be 11:00 instrumentalists with combined choirs -- if anyone's interested in joining them, feel free.
- If anyone's interested in playing at Easter Vigil, please let Barb know since space will be limited due to the brass band that's brought in.
